ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸਤ ਬਚਨ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਸੋ ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੀਕ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ।।

And Shimei said unto the king, The saying [is] good: as my lord the king hath said, so will thy servant do. And Shimei dwelt in Jerusalem many days.
